    Carolyn Hooker is Director and founder of People Inclusive and is a highly experienced business consultant specialising in everything companies need to do to get the best from their people. Her results are in achieving prosperity and growth and she advises CEO’s and senior managers in large and small companies across the SW. Her expertise lies in identifying simple, pragmatic solutions to seemingly complex problems and then advising, motivating, training and coaching people to reach their goals. With a successful track record in consultancy, business diagnostics, management development and coaching she is regularly approached to deliver solutions which require intelligent thinking and quick results.

    Carolyn was a manager for the professional services firm Grant Thornton in London, she is an Associate of the Centre for Leadership Studies at Exeter University Business School.  At the beginning of her career she spent 12 years with two internationally renowned Business Schools, Henley Management College and the Open University Business School and then became one of the first Account Managers for a new public/private e-learning company Learndirect where she was responsible for £2.5m of learning contracts. She is known for having a long and productive association with Investors in People and spent over 10 years as an Ambassador for the National Training Awards.

    After training as a Co-active® Coach with the Coaches Training Institute in London in 2005, she regularly coaches for companies and individual clients. Carolyn prides herself in getting results in improved performance, business thinking and leadership skills.

    Carolyn is an accomplished speaker and co-authored her first book on management development in the early 1990s. Her most recent publication was in 2011.

    Carolyn has a Masters Degree in Management, is a member of the International Coaching Federation, a Fellow of CIPD and the Royal Society of Arts. She also spent many years on the Devon and Cornwall branch committee of the CIPD. In her spare time she likes skiing, travelling and yoga.
